Easily Accessible

Located along the protected waters of Pensacola's Bayou Chico and with easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, Pensacola Shipyard offers an incredibly accessible location by land and by sea. Boasting 12 sprawling acres, we have an expansive property but are still conveniently located just minutes from downtown Pensacola. Our large boatyard has ample dry storage and non-crowded work-spaces. We are perfectly situated to handle your haul out needs as well.

Equipment

The state of the art equipment available to you at our boatyard is remarkable. Need a lift? Look no further as we have the 2019 100 BFM Marine Travel Lift with a 220,000 lb. capacity. Additional equipment includes a 14-ton mobile crane and a 4000 lb. 21' long forklift boom. Are your needs large scale? That is no problem with our forklift fleet that ranges from 4,000 to 20,000 lbs. and hydraulic jacks featuring a 40,000 lb capacity. We also have an environmentally friendly wet-blast system available.

Facilities

The boatyard facilities have everything you need right at your fingertips. Our multi-acre facility ensures that you have plenty of room to work and maintain your vessel. We have multiple electrical outlets and 30/50 amp receptacles. Individual water hook-ups make cleaning a breeze. You can even rent onsite vacuum sanders and other tools as needed. Working after hours? Not to worry, safety is also a top priority at our facility with plentiful lighting, round the clock video surveillance and an after-hours security guard.

Services

Whether you want the work to be hired out or prefer to do it yourself, our boatyard can accommodate your preferences. As previously mentioned, our facilities are equipped for almost any job that you choose to tackle. Our wet-blast system can be used for wet-etch bottom prep so you will not have to spend hours sanding before applying paint. We can also strip and prep your underwater running gear. Additionally, both top and bottom side paint stripping is available on aluminum, steel and fiberglass. If the project is out of your comfort zone, independent contractors are available to help with a variety of repairs including HVAC, paint, electronics, refits and more. Our fully serviced paved boatyard has everything you need for projects both large and small, plus industry experts on hand for the jobs that you do not want to attempt. Our professional staff is also available to pressure wash, block and haul out your vessel.

Clean Marina and Clean Boatyard Certified

Protecting natural resources and local waterways is a priority for Pensacola Shipyard. We are extremely proud to be the first Clean Boatyard and second Clean Marina designated in the state of Florida by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
